Period #2
Newton's First Law!
An object at rest remains at rest, and an object in motion remains in motion at constant speed and in a straight line unless acted on by an unbalanced force!

_______________
The man will remain at rest unless acted on by another force. When the car hits the wall, The man will continue moving at a constant speed and in a straight line unless acted on by another object.
Newton's 2nd Law!
The acceleration of an object depends on the mass of the object and the amount of force applied.
This is Newton's Equation to find
out how much force is
applied on an object.
But, if you were to try to push
this chair with this little kid sitting on it,
it would be harder because it has more mass.
If you were to push this
chair across the floor,
it would be easier because
it has less mass.
Newton's 3rd Law!
Whenever one object exerts a force on another, the second exerts an equal and oppsite force on the first.
In this picture, the people that are swimming are exerting a force on the water while the water is exerting a force back.
[the swimmers are pushing through the water while the water is pushing them back.]
